Get Your Car to Look Good

Decluttering your car makes a huge difference in how you feel about yourself. In fact, it feels so good that you will want to keep it orderly and looking good. Here are some tips in getting started:

You will need to get a garbage bag and a paper carton. Get all the stuff out of the car. Put all the food wrappers and old receipts and paper rubbish into the garbage bag. Empty out your car completely. Put the good stuff, like your flashlight, insurance papers, tire gauge, notebook, pens into the paper carton. These are keepers but need to be organized.

When you have emptied out the car totally, wash it. Then vacuum it. Make sure the inside is wiped clean. When you have a clean car you will want to begin putting back the essential things that belong there. The glove box needs only the bare essentials. The trunk needs only the spare tire, tire irons, jack, jumper cables – you know, the essentials. When you have your car clean and tidy you will want only the bare minimum of things that you will put back in.
What is really good about this clean car experience is that you feel good about yourself. The experience can save you embarrassment because it looks good and it makes you look good, too.
